I was getting so bored of the cute little images that we've been getting in just about every Jade Summer book. It was getting to be suffocating. But, this is something completely different. The lines aren't thick and the style is reminiscent of Alan Roberts. The paper is of course the same as always but I have never had an issue with that. My issue was every single book that was being put out was basically the same thing over and over again. We don't need a million Chibi and Kawaii girl books. Now maybe they will also put out some gray-scale that is not so dark a little lighter would be nice. This book is in the right direction. If they can keep it up with other genre's that would be fantastic.As for this one like I said I think it's the best they've ever done. Go to their site and take a look at the images before purchasing though to make sure that this would be something you would want in your collection.
