The Guild: The Official Companion Details
Review “The perfect coffee table book for someone who views the show as "pure nerd nip".” – Culture Mass “An enjoyable read.” – Trash Mutant “A love letter to the fans.” – Fan Girl Confessions “If you like Felicia Day, Geek and Sundry, or anything web series related, make sure to pick up a copy of The Guild: The Official Companion.” – Nerspan “A must read for any fan of THE GUILD.” – Things to do in LA “Felicia Day, Kim Evey, and the team at Titan Books did a great job putting together one of the better companion books I’ve encountered. It’s not just a collection of art in a shiny package; it’s a coherent narrative about the creation of a web series that is a lot of fun to read. The cast and crew of The Guild are clearly passionate about the series and that really comes across in The Official Companion.” – Sketchy Details “A fantastic addition to any Guild fan’s library.” – GameNTrain “Someone went to a hell of a lot of work to design this book and put all the pieces in place, and whoever did all that deserves credit. It’s a classy package. Hugely recommended if you’re a fan.” – Comic Book Resources "The Official Companion is a great read for anyone who loves the show and is a book that will make anyone who hasn’t seen it want to check it out. This book is highly recommended." - Renegade Cinema Read more About the Author Felicia Day is most widely known for her work in web video, and co-starred in Joss Whedon's Internet musical "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog," Voted the Best TV of 2008 by Time Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine just to name a few. Meh. I love the Guild. Was hoping for a more in depth behind the scenes story about the show. Instead it's an entire book blowing smoke up Felicia Days keister. There are some nice photos, but they're almost entirely secondary angles of promotional shoots the cast was doing (i.e.you're looking at photos of them posing for a photographer). Just stick with rewatching the show.
